This is a famous old house in Salem, MA which has been re-modeled and does not look today as the doorstop. The house was built in the Georgian style in 1792 for Jerathmiel Peirce. Sarah Peirce married George Nichols and latter in 1840 George Nicholas inherited the house. This house is more commonly known as Peirce-Nichols House.
