The company is listed in January 1, 1940 and 1943 "Reading's List of Foundries" Charles K. Dick (1875-1947) was the president and L. J. Laroche, Vice President Suceeding Miller & Buckwalter, 1897-1901, the Dick Brothers, Inc. was incorporated on 14th December 1906.This foundry is known for its brass castings. It is said that in 1930, when Reading's "Abraham Lincoln Hotel", billed as "Pennsylvania'sFinest Hotel", was opened, Dick Brothers Art Metal made custom stands and fixtures, including 450 table, floor and bridge lamps. In 1952, a 1945 Case with the IRS over Pension Funds was ruled against the Dick Brothers.
